What an adorable little guy with an amazing smile! I’ve known this sweet boy since he was in kindergarten class with my daughter. Now they are in second grade and growing up way too fast! His sweet momma called me and asked if I could take pictures of his first communion at their church. Unfortunately, our schedules didn’t match up for me to do them during the actual celebration, so we decided to take them the day after. It actually worked out better because we were able to spend a little more time together inside the chapel and on the church grounds without feeling rushed!
The day we took these, the weather was unseasonably hot in April for Oklahoma (nearly 90!). He was such a trooper for hanging with me outdoors in the heat. I’m so glad his mom decided to commemorate this special time in his life with beautiful portraits. He looks so grown up in his suit and tie.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. I know whatever it is, he will be blessed. :)

Until next time!

Missy
This sweet momma was the 2nd client I ever had! I’m so happy she entrusted me again to take their family portraits. Her kiddos are just precious. And she did a wonderful job coordinating their outfits… So colorful and fun!
Kasi – I hope you love these images of you and your sweet babies. You are a blessing to me!

Until next time!

I was so thrilled when my dear friend emailed me about taking her sons pictures. We went to college together at the University of Arkansas and our sororities were right next to each other. We met through our love of baseball… She was an intern for the sports marketing department, and I was a Diamond Doll for the Razorback baseball team so we used to hang out at the ball field a lot.
She was in our wedding and we have remained friends for all these years (gosh I sound old!) When she asked me to do some baseball pictures for her two boys who LOVE to play, how could I say no! We totally themed it up with some great props that I had on hand, and was able to borrow the rest from my husband and a few friends.
I had so much fun and really love the way they turned out!
K – I hope you love these as much as I do and cherish them for years to come.
Much love my friend. xoxo

Had to include this outtake… so cute!

At last he gets his cookie! He worked hard for it!

Until next time!

So I just happened to meet this lovely lady on my Facebook page. She had commented on one of my instagram pictures I posted about scouting new locations. From there we started conversing through Facebook messages and before you know it, we became great friends. I’m telling you, the Lord places the right people in your life at just the perfect time. She is a photographer as well so we love to chat about “the biz”! She’s a remarkable woman with two very sweet little girls. I’m so honored, once again, to have the opportunity to photograph another colleague.
Katy, I hope you love and cherish these images for years to come. I adore you and those girls of yours!
Much love! xoxo

Until next time!

This sweet mom is the sister of a friend of mine. I’m so glad she contacted me to do their family pictures this spring. They recently added a sweet little girl from Ethiopia to their family, and are ready to travel there again for another child! In fact, they will all be traveling to Ethiopia for Mother’s Day to bring home their boy. What could be a better gift!
Thank you, Montoya’s, for allowing me to create these special memories for you! I have loved getting to know you and see your faith shine through as you praise the Lord for His provision in another adoption. Praying for God’s traveling mercies as you add to your family once again.
ENJOY!
