A bit of a personal post this time, but I just had to share what a fun time we had once again at the 11th Annual Deer Creek Baseball community Easter Egg Hunt. My husband, along with his baseball booster club, started this awesome event in his second year of coaching at Deer Creek High School. It’s hard to believe we’ve been involved in this community for 12 years now! The egg hunt has grown to now host over 500 little tykes and their parents, and features over 5,000 candy and prize-filled eggs scattered all over the Deer Creek baseball field! Thankfully, the rain held out for us again this year! The kiddos also enjoyed a festival inside the baseball indoor facility that featured 2 huge inflatables, carnival games hosted by the DC ball players, face painting by students from the art department, live bunnies, and awesome door prizes (which the parents loved!)
We are so blessed to live in a community where the families place an emphasis on the true meaning of Easter.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ Mark 16:8
Now let’s get to the pictures!! :) Here are some of my favorites from the day.
Just one more thing… CONGRATS to my hubby for winning his 300th game!!! Such a great accomplishment! So proud of him and all that he stands for.

Oh – and I’m trying out a new blog entry system for images (called BlogStomp). I’m hoping it saves me tons of time but for now, I’m just getting the hang it and working out the kinks! So far I love it!
Until next time!
Be a blessing,
