What an adorable little guy with an amazing smile! I’ve known this sweet boy since he was in kindergarten class with my daughter. Now they are in second grade and growing up way too fast! His sweet momma called me and asked if I could take pictures of his first communion at their church. Unfortunately, our schedules didn’t match up for me to do them during the actual celebration, so we decided to take them the day after. It actually worked out better because we were able to spend a little more time together inside the chapel and on the church grounds without feeling rushed!
The day we took these, the weather was unseasonably hot in April for Oklahoma (nearly 90!). He was such a trooper for hanging with me outdoors in the heat. I’m so glad his mom decided to commemorate this special time in his life with beautiful portraits. He looks so grown up in his suit and tie.
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. I know whatever it is, he will be blessed. :)

Until next time!

I was so thrilled when my dear friend emailed me about taking her sons pictures. We went to college together at the University of Arkansas and our sororities were right next to each other. We met through our love of baseball… She was an intern for the sports marketing department, and I was a Diamond Doll for the Razorback baseball team so we used to hang out at the ball field a lot.
She was in our wedding and we have remained friends for all these years (gosh I sound old!) When she asked me to do some baseball pictures for her two boys who LOVE to play, how could I say no! We totally themed it up with some great props that I had on hand, and was able to borrow the rest from my husband and a few friends.
I had so much fun and really love the way they turned out!
K – I hope you love these as much as I do and cherish them for years to come.
Much love my friend. xoxo

Had to include this outtake… so cute!

At last he gets his cookie! He worked hard for it!

Until next time!

So I just happened to meet this lovely lady on my Facebook page. She had commented on one of my instagram pictures I posted about scouting new locations. From there we started conversing through Facebook messages and before you know it, we became great friends. I’m telling you, the Lord places the right people in your life at just the perfect time. She is a photographer as well so we love to chat about “the biz”! She’s a remarkable woman with two very sweet little girls. I’m so honored, once again, to have the opportunity to photograph another colleague.
Katy, I hope you love and cherish these images for years to come. I adore you and those girls of yours!
Much love! xoxo

Until next time!

Nathan was such a pleasure to meet and photograph… not only is he handsome and funny, he is so smart! He will be attending the University of Tulsa in the fall. If his computer career doesn’t work out, I really think he needs to go into modeling… he really knew how to work the camera.
His parents and sister came along to make it a family affair. I had so much fun walking around the downtown area with them. Got some great shots of Nathan and his little sister Sarah together as well. She is equally as cute and so sweet. Hope to take her senior pictures in a few years too!
Nathan – best of everything to you, my friend. You will go far in this life with your positive attitude, witty personality, and winning smile. Good luck at TU!

Until next time!

I am so excited to be offering these sessions this spring! As a mom, I find myself behind the camera more often than in front of it! But it’s important for us moms to be IN the photos too! These are images our children will look back on many years down the road and will want to see us in them, too. Now I know as moms, we have a million different reasons why we can’t or don’t want to be photographed. But to our babies, we are the MOST beautiful woman in the world. Life is short. So, let’s do this… come laugh, play, and have fun with your kiddos while I’m there to capture moments you’ll cherish forever.
Mommy & Me Mini Sessions will be held on TWO dates, Sunday April 14th and Sunday April 21st and will take place in the Edmond/North OKC area at an outdoor field location to be announced a week prior to the session. This is open to mothers and children of all ages, and will be great for grandmothers too!
Dad’s, this would be the PERFECT gift for Mother’s Day! I offer gift certificates too… just sayin’.
Contact me via email at missy@missymoorephotography.com to reserve your session time. Retainer of $50 will hold your spot. Remainder due at session.
Feel free to share with your friends.

Until next time!
Be a Blessing,
Missy
