Ellie | Oklahoma High School Senior | Missy Moore Photography

Oh, how I absolutely LOVE working with high school seniors, especially sweet girls like Ellie.  She’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Our day started out with hair and makeup with her sweet mom in tow. While Ellie was in the “glam chair”, her mom and I worked through our locations for each of the gorgeous outfits she brought along.  If you want to look like you belong on the cover of a magazine, I can help you by using these tips!  I highly recommend my senior girls spend the extra time and investment having their hair styled and makeup applied by a professional hair and makeup artist. It makes a world of difference and provides for a more polished look in the final images.  Plus, it makes the day extra fun and exciting! I mean – who doesn’t love being pampered and having a photographer follow you around all afternoon!  I also suggest taking the extra time to plan each “Look” the senior is dreaming about, right down to each location. Every little detail counts, and that means having freshly manicured nails, choosing the perfect jewelry and accessories for each look, and mapping out your day with the locations for each outfit.  This will really help to maximize your time at your session! My goal is to make my seniors feel just as special as their senior year is to each of them! To me, it’s all about the experience we have along the way!  After all, it’s your time to shine!  :)

These are some of my favorites of Ellie’s session.  I’m so glad I could be a part of this beautiful young lady’s senior experience.  She and her mom were so fun!  Thank you, Ellie, for choosing me as your senior photographer.  Hope college is treating you well!

Until next time, be a Blessing!

Taylor | Oklahoma High School Senior | Missy Moore Photography

Playing catch-up on my blog today. Being a mom and a business owner can be exhausting sometimes!  Can I get an amen?  It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this sweet girl, so I thought I’d take a walk down memory lane and show off some of favorites of the pretty miss Taylor.  Loved gallivanting around in downtown OKC and the Myriad Botanical Garden area for her senior portraits.  Her beautiful smile matches her caring heart, and as you can see, radiates through her portraits. Enjoy!

I’m currently booking C/O 2018 seniors in the Texoma, Frisco, and greater OKC areas!  If you’re ready to book your session, click the contact link above soon to get on my schedule!

Be sure to ask about my new Senior Mini package! It’s your time to SHINE!

Until next time, be a Blessing!

Rachel | Deer Creek Senior {Oklahoma Senior Photographer}

Catching up on the blog finally!   This young lady was a dream to photograph. I loved working with her.  She has a sweet soul with an endearing smile and beautiful personality that really shined through in the photographs. We ventured to some of my favorite spots in OKC and a few new ones as well. Loved that she was adventerous and willing to try just about anything!  Her session is one of my top favorites so far.

Keep in mind I am booking Class of 2018 now!  If you are a current or upcoming senior (or know anyone who is) in the Texoma, Frisco, or OKC areas looking for a senior photographer, I would love to meet you! My goal is to bring out the best in YOU while we have a lot of fun in the process! It’s your time to shine!! :)

Until next time, be a Blessing!

FCA 5K Run/Walk 2017 | Durant, OK

Last weekend, the Southeast Oklahoma chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosted its inaugural 5K run/walk in Durant, OK.  While I typically don’t photograph sporting events, I was honored to be able to document this great cause.  A rainy, cool start to the morning greeted runners as they picked up registrations, but as the morning progressed the runners were blessed with no rain!  Here are my highlights from the day. Enjoy!

Proceeds from this event help to support our local FCA serving student-athletes as they grow in their faith both on and off the playing field.

The race could not have been possible without our sponsors.  Thank you to the following for making this run a reality: Landmark Bank | First Texoma National Bank | Taco Mayo | Taco Casa | Rhynes & Rhodes | Red River Ford | Country Kitchen | Edward Jones | Kenny Mossman | Hot Shots Coffee | Marie’s | Corner Drug | Greg Phillips State Farm

RUNNERS: please contact our local FCA office to inquire how you can download a copy of your favorite photos.

Fight. Finish. Faith.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ~2 Timothy 4:7

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel. ~Philippians 1:27

Until next time, be a Blessing!

Family Portraits in Arkansas

Well 2016 has come and gone just like that.  I think we could all agree that life happens too quickly and before you know it, time is gone.  Time to listen, time to say what you meant to say, time to reach out and make a new friend, time to love and serve.  Like everyone else, our family has had our share of ups and downs with health challenges, career changes, new towns, new friendships, and new opportunities.  Each one, good and bad, has taught us valuable life lessons about perserverence, patience, and purpose.  In the coming year, my prayer for my family is that we will live more purposefully and intentionally, so that we don’t miss the chance to say or do something that will make someone smile and believe in Hope for a better tomorrow.  Speaking of making someone smile, this brings me to these photos.  My brothers and I were so proud that we could finally make this happen for our parents.  All of our families were able to be home in Arkansas for Christmas and we took the opportunity to take some updated family portraits. We could not have asked for better weather in December.  Thanks to my sister-in-law for bringing her handy tripod, and to my hubby for graciously snapping a few of these shots for me.  I may just hire him!  Here’s a few of my favorites of our time together. ENJOY!

Mom and Daddy, I hope these make you smile. We love you and hope you will be proud to show these off to all your friends. :) xoxo

Our “Sweet Sue” and Daddy…

My handsome baby brother got a few new headshots as well!

Love his smile. And his big heart.

The grandbabies are growing up!!  Wahhh…

They sure do love their Grammy and Pappy!

I’ve wanted this shot forever… a generation photo of me, mom and my baby girl.

All the girls!

… and the guys.   Love and miss these people so much.

My middle brother and his good-looking crew!  They could be models.

My nephews are handsome little devils.

Dad and his sons… awesome memories!

My little fam… love them to the moon and back!

Nothing sweeter than a daddy and his girl…

This one here… she has my whole heart.

Thanks to my hubby for snapping a new headshot of me… it’s been awhile. I always feel awkward in front of the camera.  Much more comfortable behind the lens!  :)

Cheers to 2017!  Until next time!

Be a Blessing, M
